Hi, I'm Tony Corso, a full time, freelance photographer based in Paris, Texas. I specialize in a wide variety of photography including sports, weddings, commercial properties and businesses, portraits and events along with aerial (drone) photography. I service multiple schools in the area providing high quality school portraits.

Photography is my passion.

I spent the better part of my high school years in a darkroom developing countless photos I had taken. My work was published regularly in local papers, high school yearbooks, and my college newspaper at Arizona State University. I grew to love the hobby and thought about making a career of it at one time; but as they say, "life happens" and other things over time took precedence and I got away from it. Our "empty nest" stage of life nudged me into the digital revolution and I fell in love all over again with my long lost passion for photography. While it was never my plan to start a business, it has grown into one that is flourishing, and I enjoy it immensely.

I have lived in northeast Texas for over 30 years. Born in California and raised as an army brat, I graduated in Germany from Frankfurt American High School in 1978. My travels have taken me here and there and numerous places in-between.

I retired from teaching Junior High School in the Prairiland Independent School District after 20+ years in 2015. I also pastored a church for 17 years before stepping down for a season of rest & refocus (no pun intended).

I’ve been married for over 40 years to another FAHS graduate, and I've been quite blessed to have raised three wonderful daughters. Kathy, my wife, is a Labor/Delivery nurse for the Baylor Health Care System. Our three girls are off pursuing their own interest and talents. And, as of September 2021, I can proudly add that I recently became a grandfather to twin boys who have already burrowed deep into my heart.

My grandsons, Addison and Nolan

I am available to offer my photographic services to you for various events. It's my goal to offer professional quality photos at affordable prices, and I am available and willing to travel.

I shoot a wide variety of events which I feel has contributed to sharpening my skills as a photographer - able to adapt for just about any type of setting. In recent years, I have begun doing more commercial work in the area. I’m able to provide a wide range of services: professional headshots to property shoots, business sponsored events, etc. If you follow me on Facebook, you'll see I post many local sports action shots and weather/landscape nature photos as well.

Capturing that elusive ‘perfect shot’ is what keeps many of us photographers engaged with the proverbial thrill of the hunt. There are times when you plan and map out cross-country road trips to capture a full solar eclipse.  Other times it means being up early, or late, to capture a rising sun in the exact spot you were hoping for. Looking for a new angle to capture a basketball player grabbing a rebound or a diver breaking the surface of a pool requires getting creative. Being at the right place at the right time can sometimes be orchestrated; but more often than not, it boils down to just pure luck. Or, as someone once said, luck is where opportunity and preparation meet. I’ve been lucky more times than I can count.

If you love to travel like I do, you may enjoy a collection of photos of various places I’ve been extremely blessed to have visited over the past decade. Some of those trips have included Sicily, Canada, Yosemite, and a few RV road trips to mention a few. Perhaps they will inspire you to make plans yourself to go visit.
